Amplify Healing Through Song and Transform Lives
I remember the moment. I was sitting at the piano feeling a wave of inspiration coming over me. Wanting to compose a song for a Song Healing Trauma participant, but I was overwhelmed by the amount of 'should's' on my mind.Â
"I should be on social media right now"
"I should be promoting a show"Â
"I should be sending emails"
And then I remembered...I'm on salary. And I'm on salary to do THIS. To sit at the piano, and allow myself to channel a song for a young man who needs healing.
You see, in 2020, I was blessed to be a part of a program called Artists at Work where artists like myself were employed for a period of one year to deepen their art practice and work collaboratively in response to local community needs. What that looked like for me was that I got to create and develop my program Song Healing Trauma, working with young people of color healing trauma through song.Â
That year, I was paid $2500 a month to sing. To compose. To work with young people in my community in a context of artistic healing. That year change my life. I experienced a felt sense of financial stability, the 'shoulds' melted away, and all that was left was open space for creativity. Open space for the divine.Â
That opened me up to what was possible.Â
And so now, with all my love and deep humility, I ask for your support in helping me to re-create that for myself. I am so grateful for organizations like Artists at Work who have helped more than 70 artists at this point to have experiences like I had. But one year is not enough. Artists deserve to be supported for life. I deserve to be supported for life. I know the value of this music. I've seen again and again it's impact on women, men and young people who are healed and changed for life with a single song.Â
I want to honor that impact and also, distribute my music worldwide through platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and more.Â
But I don't want to do it alone.Â
So if you have been impacted by music. If my music has changed your life, or if you are new to me but already know the power of music and its impact, I humbly ask you to become one of my angels and receive access to an exclusive monthly podcast where I will tell you a story, sing you a song and share an idea that just might change your life.Â
My commitment to you is that once I reach 100 angels, I will begin releasing music quarterly. This could be singles, EPs or albums, but 4 times per year, you can look forward to the music that I've written over the last few years finally being available on your favorite streaming platforms :).
Choose your level of contribution below and be a part of revolutionizing the music industry.Â
I'd like this model to demonstrate for artists all over the world that is in fact possible to let the starving artist identity die and know can actually thrive while prioritizing their artistry. May your investment in me now, be an investment in artists everywhere who are ready to claim their value and change the world with their art.

Song Healing Trauma
Healing the Hearts of Young Men & Women Through Music
In a world where so many men and women, especially young men of color, are told to stay silent, to hide their pain, or to armor their hearts, Song Healing Trauma creates a different kind of space. A sacred one.
Here, music becomes permission.
Through this work, I’ve sat with young men who have never before been given the chance to tell their stories. Together, we translate their pain into poetry, their silence into sound, and their trauma into truth.
These Trauma Healing Songs become testimonies of resilience, rebirth, and real emotion.
“And it wasn't just the song...it was the process going through to make that song. The time I was with you just letting it all go. That meant more to me than the song.”
That’s what one of the young men said after our work together. Work that changed both of us forever.
With your support through Naia’s Angels, these stories—their stories—will be the first to reach the world. Once we reach 100 Angels, my first releases will be the songs born through Song Healing Trauma, so that the voices and hearts of these youth are amplified through music that heals.
This work matters—for them, for us, for every person who’s ever been told to stay quiet when what they needed most was to be heard.

Why this Matters
Because music doesn’t just move us—it mends us.
It brings us back to ourselves. It creates safety where there was silence. It gives voice to the unspeakable.
This work—these songs—aren’t just about my story. They’re about the stories I’ve been entrusted to carry.
Through Song Healing Trauma, I’ve sat with young men and women who have survived the unimaginable. With your support, their voices become songs. Their pain becomes poetry. Their truth becomes testimony.
When you become one of Naia’s Angels, you’re not just supporting me—you’re amplifying the voices of youth whose stories deserve to be heard.
You’re helping to create a world where music is more than entertainment—it’s intervention. It’s education. It’s liberation.
Let’s rewrite the narrative of the starving artist. Let’s honor the serving artist—and the sacred stories they carry.
Your contribution is a love letter to healing. It’s a stand for what’s possible when we make art from truth.
