What To Expect?
The Undenaiable Sisterhood monthly virtual gatherings are 90 minute calls held via zoom.
Your host and founder of US (Undenaiable Sisterhood), Naia Kete, will share 3 Trauma Healing Songs.
Music is an activator. An activator of emotion, subconscious thought and more.
After each song, every participant will have an opportunity to share reflections on what the music moves in her.
The collective sharing is key because what mostly arises is the truth in our connection. What each participant discovers through this experience is often brilliant and transformational. You are not alone in your pain. You are not alone in your JOY. Women do not heal in a silo. In the Undenaiable Sisterhood, we heal in community.
You are not required to share. It is simply an invitation. You are welcome to participate however you feel called 💜
TO PREPARE:
- Set aside 90 minutes of uninterrupted time
- Bring sacred tools to create sacred space (candles, sage, incense, etc)
- Have headphones on to protect the privacy of women on the call and enjoy the music at its best
- Have water on hand so you stay hydrated. These calls can bring up a lot of emotional release.
- Optional: Bring a journal. You may be inspired to record your thoughts.
About your host
Naia Kete is the founder of US (the Undenaiable Sisterhood) which is a sponsor of Song Healing Trauma - an innovative new program which engages the healing power of music to reframe the embodied experience of trauma in a context of safety and courage.
She is an artist, singer, songwriter, and musician. She is the lead singer of SayReal, an urban reggae band spearheading a social evolution of mainstream pop culture. In 2012, she was a contestant on the second season of the NBC television show The Voice as a member of Team Blake, making it into the Top 24.
Naia has spent her life dedicated to fueling a timeless, ever-evolving revolution. Her vehicle for this has always been music...sound...vibration.
